iPhone app

How do I save a competition?

  1. In Instagram, Facebook, Safari, or almost any other app, tap Share on the post or page.
  2. Choose PrizePilot. If it isn't in the row of apps, scroll to the end and tap More to find it.
  3. Optionally add a note, then tap Save.

You can share links, text (for example a post caption), or a screenshot. The competition appears in the PrizePilot app and syncs to your account.

How do I put PrizePilot first in the Share menu?

Add PrizePilot to your Share menu favourites. Favourites appear at the start of the row of apps, so PrizePilot is ready as soon as you tap Share. You only need to do this once.

  1. In any app, tap Share on a post or page.
  2. In the row of apps, scroll to the end and tap More.
  3. Tap Edit in the top corner.
  4. Find PrizePilot under Suggestions and tap the green + next to it. It moves up to Favourites.
  5. Drag the handle next to PrizePilot to the top of the Favourites list, then tap Done.

The exact wording can differ slightly between iOS versions. PrizePilot appears when you share a link, text, or an image; it won't show when you share something it can't save, such as a video or several photos at once.

How do I sign in?

Use the email address and password of your PrizePilot account. If you got PrizePilot through a purchase, that's the email you used at checkout, and your welcome email contains a link to set your password.

The app signs in to existing PrizePilot accounts only; it can't create a new one.

I forgot my password

In the PrizePilot Chrome extension, open Settings → Account and choose Forgot password?. You'll get an email with a link to set a new one. If you don't use the extension, email us and we'll help.

What do Queued, Synced, Failed, and Pending mean?

If you see "Your session has expired. Please sign in again.", sign in with the same account and your waiting competitions will upload.

How do I remove competitions?

Touch and hold a competition and choose Delete, or use the trash button to remove all synced competitions at once. You can also turn on Settings → Auto-remove synced captures. Removing competitions only removes them from your iPhone; they stay in your account.

Where do my saved competitions show up on my computer?

In the PrizePilot Chrome extension, under My Sources → Saved from phone. Which extension features you can use depends on your plan; on the free plan the extension shows how many competitions you've saved from your phone.

Does PrizePilot enter competitions or post for me?

The iPhone app only saves competitions. It never enters them, posts, comments, or follows anyone.
